How it all started
From zero to nomads
We met over eight years ago, young and fresh into adulthood, toeing the line of societal norms yet unsure of our desires. Skipped the late-night raves throughout the college years and saved every penny from side gigs for five-day trips on the cheapest flights available. Annual getaways turned biannual. And, as we mastered travel hacks, it evolved into monthly adventures. By 2019 we had left everything behind to travel the world full-time.
From an early sports enthusiast with eyes set on turning pro, life showed me a different path with a shift towards the iGaming industry. I studied mathematics and statistics and climbed my way up in casino and sportsbook roles. The pandemic hit in 2020, prompting me to leave it all to explore the world full-time.

Charlon brought a solid marketing and iGaming foundation, landing his first writing gig in a few months. Soon, he was working alongside advertising agencies, casino affiliates, yacht manufacturers, sports data providers—you name it.
Charlotte jumped into sales with zero experience. Well, unless you count cookie stalls at school fundraisers. But she caught a break with a tech startup that taught her the trade. Next came a leading Swedish tech company specializing in automated content.
Creating travel content was our thing; we shot photos and promotional material for hotels, resorts, and tourism boards.
We rode the micro-influencer wave, exchanging exposure for stays and experiences. Countless hours went in, and our content improved, yet the returns were meager—ultimately, not worth the effort.
Then, we shifted to freelance travel writing. That's when everything really took off.
